Coffee shop coffee is a no no right now so we all have to get a little more creative with our fancy coffee cravings. Here is my top 3 aesthetically pleasing coffee that’s super instagrammable and gives you the energy to lay around and do nothing the whole day.
Number one belongs to a star of recent days on the internet: Dalgona whipped coffee.
Viral sensation took over til tok, Instagram, and other social media platforms. You can find everything you need to know about this Dalgona coffee trend in my previous article:
Another Instagram friendly coffee I tried in these godforsaken times was ice coffee reversed.
When I think about ice coffee I imagine a simple latte with a bunch of ice cubes.
This ice coffee of mine was a bit different as the ice cubes were coffee. No more watered down ice coffee. With this type of ice coffee you’ll only get coffeed down and that’s the dream.
I poured like 10 shots of espresso into an ice cube tray and let it freeze overnight.
The next morning I took a few of the coffee ice cubes out and into a photogenic glassware, and poured a decent amount of coconut milk over it. The color mixture created by this simple act was spectacular and I enjoyed it way too much.
Fun fact: I put way too many ice coffee cubes and my coffee was way too strong for my liking, so I took them all out after a couple of minutes and put it back to the freezer for another use.
The last coffee type that’s pretty basic but still dominates the internet is ice coffee latte aka coffee shot over milk and ice aka white girl power drink.
Pouring an espresso shot over my almond milk and ice was not as satisfying as the milk over coffee cubes action, but it was still pretty good.
Here is the video for the comparison:
Homemade ice coffee made me feel like everything was back to normal except for the overpayment.
I’m a firm believer that food and drinks taste better when they look better. So that’s that.
These 3 coffee looks awesome, tastes awesome, and looks awesome on my Instagram. Not that that’s what’s important right now but it’s up there.
