Macy’s uploaded two new creations to their popular Edits section. Both of the edits are diametrally different and that’s what makes it so special. It’s the 2 forever opposite forces of fashion. Bright colors VS. Black and White.

Macy’s creates these edits as a sort of pre-assembled outfits, best combinations, or theme-related pieces of clothing, beauty products or home decorations. It’s for all of us lazy folks who can’t be bothered with creating the perfect outfits most of the time. Sure it’s fun for the most part but we all need a little help from time to time.

It’s so clever of Macy’s to put both of the most frequent styles up together. This way everyone can choose their favorite but for now, I literally can’t choose my favorite.

Let’s start with the colorful one first.

So. Bright. Now.

Colorful outfits are attributed to a youthful or even playful style. Macy’s managed to portray bright colors in elegant, almost typically black and white style.

Here is how MAcys describes So Bright Now edit:

The main colors of this edit are bright blue, vivid pink, or yellow. The total contrast of those 3 colors is what makes them so great together.

I absolutely adore this Pink Calvin Klein handbag. So bright now is full of exquisite colorful handbags just like this DKNY one or this INC color block one. Macy’s offers free shipping with orders over 25$ and you can get an Extra 20% off with code: WINTER for the INC handbag. Michael Kors Camden Small Pochette Bag comes in many beautiful bright colors and would brighten up any outfit.

I’m very fond of the combination of So Bright Now style with another edit Macy’s shared titled:

Bring on Black and White.

Black and white means elegance.

Elegance doesn’t necessarily mean it can’t be fun. This edit is just as playful as you would expect from the first bright colored one. Just take a look at this adorable Charles David Collection Corona Sandals. Warmer days can’t come fast enough.

Another favorite piece of mine is these DKNY snickers created for Macy’s itself. You can use discount code WINTER for an extra 20% off with these as well.

Black and white has always been there and always will. I’m glad Macy’s offers so many options in this style.

I’m fond of both of these edits but what do you prefer?

Colors or Black and white?

Let me know in the comments.

I love white furniture, makes my place look way larger than it actually is.

    Thanks for your recommendations!
I like the color but I prefer the black and white in the more special outfits … 🙂
