APRIL 2019 is here ladies and gentlemen. The month significant for most of the First World countries population. This April we’ll get to see and say goodbye to two of the greatest fantasies ever: Game of Thrones and Avengers: endgame.
As a species, we tend to get over obsessive over the fictional world. There is a part of me being rational and telling me that I should focus on my real job, real-life people, and real-life experiences.
But there is the other me screaming out because Game of Thrones final season is out in April 2019.
And I just love to be irrational.
Game of Thrones became so mainstream I don’t think it even has a proper fan base anymore.
Like sure there are few weirdos who haven’t watched the show – YET. But most of the people did and let’s just say we’re all fans on different levels. You can admire the billion of storylines, the brilliance of George Martin, incredibly thought-through world, the show production, or whatever.
But the fact remains that Game of Thrones became a classic.
Just like Harry Potter. Who isn’t in Harry Potter fandom?
Game of thrones got up there right with Harry Potter and Lord of the rings as one of the most astonishing fantasy story ever told.
This April we get to say goodbye to the magic world and even though I’m super excited for season 8 I’m also super sad its ending.
I’m so torn in a way a TV show should not make me feel. It’s not real for crying out loud.
But still – just keep in mind that on 14 April millions of people will sit in front of their TV or laptops, holding their breath and watching the first episode of last season of one of the most brilliant shows ever.
My hopes are high and my soul is eager.
If my geeky brain won’t have enough to fangirl about Hollywood people decided to throw me another bomb.
Let’s move to another made-up universe full of extraordinary characters.
Superheros let’s say.
The end game of them all.
Endgame is a direct sequel to Marvels Avengers: infinity war. I believe everyone saw at least one of the Marvel movies in their life.
Hardcore fans saw them all in the right sequences. Guess which one I am.
Even though Avengers: Endgame sounds like the end of the Avengers movies and there were plenty of rumors that it’s gonna be the last one I just don’t buy it.
There are endless possibilities of how to keep the story going. The other question is if it should.
On 26 April we’ll get to see the reminding few Avenge the fallen. Great world play and the official posters are so simple and yet so creative I just love it.
It’s gonna be 3 hours long and if you think I’m gonna sit through 3 hours long movie you’re damn right I am.
April has a lot in store for movie fans and I can barely contain my excitement.
How ridiculous it is that this fiction makes me feel such delight.
Let’s count down the days.
Don’t let me down April.
