Hey. If you happen to be a plus-size woman or just don’t have a “regular model” size I’m sure you are familiar with the struggle that shopping for pants online brings.
I have so many experiences in this area and so far only one pants I got online fit me and this review is not about them.
I found these cute black pants on one of my favorite online stores Romwe – if you want to know more about them or you are wondering how does our fashion blogger collaboration program works feel free to read some of my previous articles on here.
Because of the measurements I found on the official product page I believed that XL size would fit me good – also its elastic material so I would definitely pull them up (but I did not)
Here is the product photo and description:
Shipping of my package took around 2 weeks and it was without any complications as usual.
But as you might have guessed by now – it was too small for me.
Thankfully my sister was so kind and let me give her these cute pants for free – in exchange for these photographs I’m about to share with you.
My sister is size S and wearing what’s supposed to be size XL. It’s elastic pull up pants with no zipper, two back pockets, ankle-length, nicely sewed except for one tiny fiber sticking out of the crotch area (we cut it out without any more damage) Check it out:
Romwe is a great site, for real but I would not recommend any L and bigger sized women to get pants online at any kind of website. (unless you have someone smaller size who could wear all your failed shopping attempts)
It’s a shame I can’t wear them cuz they look really great.

Thank you for your attention

🙂 Generally speaking, I agree with you, but I know of some online shops where buying cheap, but cute and durable, L-size pants of any kind does not bring frustration. In fact, I have never had to return or gift any of them, ever. I think you could try Hollister 😉 –a four day shipment from California to Catalonia, a size always true to descriptions and measures given. I’m size L for pants, mostly because I’m tall, but my bottom is quite perky too, and I’m size XL for tops and jackets, since I have broad shoulders, despite having small breasts, but all items really fit me OK.
From Romwe, I’ve never been able to get a fitting blouse or shirt or bralette or anything similar that I may wear comfortably or, in any case, beyond a couple of washings… Hummm :/
So did you try measuring the pants to see if they actually were the correct numbers like the site claimed? It just seems odd that they could give out those numbers and then not have it work.
When I buy work pants, I know I need a 36in waist and a 28in inseam. No guess work. And if it doesn’t fit and has those measurements, something is really wrong.
Maybe I should just be thankful I’m a man and don’t have to worry about a lot of things like this?
Black is back!
Thank goodness for plus size
This size thing annoys me they make so many clothes for skinny People
In-store shopping is more assured (LOL).
Loving the information on this internet site, you have done great job on the posts.
