Today is March 8, 2019. International women’s day ladies – it’s our day. Let’s not forget why we need international women’s day and remember what it means to be a woman not only on this day.

Here is to the women out there.

Here is to the women who get to work their ass off to get pay 80,5 cents for every dollar a man makes for the same job.

Here is to the women who are not allowed to work at all.

Here is to the women who don’t have proper access to health care or contraception.

Here is to the women who can’t afford sanitary products.

Here is to the women who don’t have the say about their own bodies.

Here is to the women who don’t have a say at all.

Here is to the mentally ill woman.

Here is to the survivors.

Here is to the victims of rape and abuse whose validation of their claim is questioned.

Here is to the working mothers.

Here is to the real superheroes.

Here is to the single mothers.

Here is to the women whose kids have been taken away from.

Here is to the women who can’t have children of their own.

Here is to every woman whose womanhood is being questioned.

Here is to every woman who has to smile at sleazy comments.

Here is to every sacred woman.

Here is to the women walking home with keys between their fingers.

Here is to the women in war zones.

Here is to every women’s insecurities.

Here is to the women not comfortable in their own bodies.

Here is to women being mocked for their beliefs.

Here is to the women trying to keep up with fashion trends.

Here is to the women not caring about fashion.

Here is to the women who empower others.

Here is to the women who need empowerment.

Here is too emotional women.

Here is to the women in relationships and in marriage.

Here is to the single women.

Here is to women who are feeling alone.

Here is to the women without a voice.

Here is to the women speaking on behalf of those who don’t have a voice.

Here is too ambitious women.

Here is to boss women.

Here is to stay at home women.

Here is to every little girl with enormous potential.

Here is to every women out there to know her worth. To know that despite all of the struggles it’s a blessing to be a woman. To know that her strength is one of the most incredible power in the world. To know that road to self-confidence and pride in being a woman is crooked. You’ll meet many inconveniences along the way. You’ll stumble and fall. To know that what makes a woman a woman is how she pulls herself up and get shit done.
