Hey. My blogger journey started 6 years ago when I from pure boredom joined Tumblr. To my own surprise my Tumblr blog renegade-is-in-my-blood met quite a success in a few month span and I never truly understood how I managed that. I shared my insights about related topics, about my favorite bands, about tv shows, about YouTubers, about movies, or anything that I was into at that time. My interest varied so much over the years and each phase of my life formed me and my blog into what it is today.
When I managed to gain thousands of followers I started to get noticed by brands. That’s when it first occurred to me that I might be doing something right as people actually enjoyed my content.
I started doing reviews, collaborating with fashion brands and many other brands on different projects, and improve my work along the way.
As with everything in life, it’s vital to learn and to grow. To move forward.
That’s when I created my WordPress blog at the begging of last year and in a short time I received the feedback I never dreamed of. Suddenly I got thousands of followers, hundreds of thousands of readers, and many more collaboration opportunities. I still feel like it’s just one pretty dream.
Even though my journey with WordPress was short I reached everything I could and as I am never satisfied I moved forward with my blog once again.
All this time I was self-made. I never asked for help from anyone and even though it has been a struggle at some time the reward of reaching it all by myself was even more satisfying.
That’s why when I was approached by Blogger to WordPress with an offer to help me improve my blog I was so skeptical.
I never needed any help so why would I need one now?
My pride might be the death of me. Against all odds and all of my believes I started a conversation with blogerize and asked them more about their offer.
I learned more about them and here is what I got:
Blogger to WordPress is a platform for starting up bloggers. For total beginners. They offer free courses describing every step of the way to become a proper blogger and honestly it’s very well made. Easy to understand and they cover every basic info you would need in order to blog.
Over the years I go many questions about sharing some tips for starting up bloggers and I could never put it up as good as bloggerize has on their website. I believe everyone who considers blogging should do their research and find information about what exactly they are getting into. Blogger to WordPress offers this information for free.
I never had any courses like this. Even though I had to learn the hard way, I just wish someone would help me back then like blogerize offers. Who knows where I would be right now?
Blogger to WordPress approached me with an offer to do my blogger makeover. Back then I was using a simple WordPress theme and there were a lot of features I wished to compose to my blog but didn’t know how to. Blogger to WordPress did that for me.
I literally had nothing to lose and our work began.
I communicated with them over the emails and to be fair it was one of the smoothest collaborations I had the honor to work on. Their reply was almost immediate, very helpful, informative in a way I could easily understand.
I send them an essay of how exactly I want my new blog design to look like. My demands must have been so hard for them to understand as I didn’t know any official terms of how coding works. I still can’t believe they met my requests in such a perfect way they did.
As you can see my new design is up and running and it’s better than ever. All thanks to blogerize.
But that’s not all I’m thankful for.
For a while, I was struggling with my WordPress blog. Not in a bad way – I was getting regular traffic and everything but I fell into a sort of routine.
I wanted more.
There were a few times before when I thought about going self-hosted. WordPress is an incredible tool for beginners but there were things I wanted to do I couldn’t on there. For example, I wanted to work with some brands but I couldn’t on WordPress, or I wanted to update my design but I couldn’t on WordPress, and many more that left me questioning my next move.
That’s where blogerize stepped up and explained to me step by step how to become a self-hosted website and that should be every blogger’s end game. We exchanged over 50 emails and that’s the best live support you could even imagine. I couldn’t do it without their help and I am forever grateful for their kindness and their time.
I never expected such a positive impact on my blog when I first got their message.
Not only is my new design but for all of the tips I got along the way.
