Genius Season 1 – Life of Albert Einstein

Hey. Let me tell you about this Tv show called Genius and its first season introducing the life of Albert Einstein.

It’s Documentary drama series by National Geographic which monitoring the life of famous people.

The first season is all about Albert Einstein.

Sounds super boring right?

You can’t really expect the documentary about theoretical physicist Albert Einstein to be interesting to anyone not really into science – but that’s just not true about this documentary series.

I never before watched tv show made by National geography so I didn’t really know what to expect.

I came across this show by random and I was caught by the description of the show. It was in my docu-series period – the time from the time I get this urge to learn something new in the form of documentary so I was so pleased by the Genius TV show.

It’s not a typical documentary where you hear a narrator talking about the topic, see a few interviews and photographs of the topic.

This drama-documentary SHOWS life of Einstein rather than just talking about it.

I had no idea Einstein led such eventful life and I learn so much about this man in a very thrilling way. It shows Einsteins’ life from a young age to adult life and each timeline overleap over the show adds to its uniqueness.

Whole Einsteins life summed up in 10 episodes. I finished it all in just 2 days – it’s really hard to stop and I never thought Einstein would keep me on the edge of my seat.

OMG, the casting! Spectacular job in choosing Geoffrey Rush and Johnny Flynn as Einsteins as they were both amazing Einsteins. Just look at them:

This tv show shows the brilliance of Albert Einstein as well as all of his flaws I had no knowledge of.

His relationship with his first wife Mileva Marić played by Samantha Colley was so heartbreaking to watch and I felt so sorry for her.

I’m not really sure how much I can say here without spoiling it. But since it’s a documentary is it really spoilers?

Let me just say it’s a romantic drama I never imagined witnessing in association with theoretical physic. I highly recommend you check it out.

Beyond my expectations.

Genius show already realized their second season and it’s about the life of Pablo Picasso. (!)
